Southwest Sustainability Conference

Building Solutions was proud to host the 2nd Annual Southwest Sustainability Conference held on February 10, 2010.  The conference was designed for business officers, facility managers, teachers and students who are interested in the topic of sustainability, recycling and conservation at their school.  

In 2009, our keynote speaker Charles hopkins (UNESCO Chair at York University, Toronto, Canada) said "If we're going to education people - an entire school community for example - to know about the world they're going to inherit, then it is up to educators to have them understand what that world may be in the future."

All of us who have a passion for change toward a more sustainable world realize how important it is that schools are embracing this challenge. To inform, encourage, and inspire them, we feel this conference was a helpful tool.
